He adapts to each client’s needs and works diligently to understand each individual’s goals and abilities. Comprehensive training and certifications allow Greg to utilize the most accurate and effective training techniques for any level. His approach to fitness is contagious and he truly understands the importance of getting to know his client. Greg’s personable and charismatic approach to his client sessions encourages and motivate his clients to achieve their personal goals. Greg trains in a variety of areas such as free weights, machine weights, cables, TRX, (kettle bells, battle ropes and your own body weight). Some sports I play: equestrian, frisbee, field hockey, tennis, swimming, and powerlifting. I have competed in equestrian, swimming and powerlifting. I took on my own health and fitness journey of aging well and aging strong five years ago. Through this journey I learned an important lesson—there is no finish line to aging well and aging strong. The work is ongoing, and I love to push myself. This process is very personal and different for everyone. I have been a personal trainer for 20 years and love every minute of it. I have been in gyms since I was 15 years old working out and getting fit, so I thought to myself why not become a personal trainer; seeing results for myself thinking I can do this for other people so there the journey started. From a young age, I was into sports whatever it was, but my passion was soccer and running. I played soccer in England as a goalkeeper and for a team called Beckenham Town for many years. I also ran for a club called Blackheath Harriers cross country racers doing 200 meters and 400 meters races at home and abroad. I get a lot of satisfaction from my job seeing my clients get the results from all the hard work they put in. As a personal trainer, I still have the passion and motivation to continue to help my existing clients and new clients to successfully reach their goals. My specific skills are circuit training and Plyometrics, the way to burn calories. If you want to get fit, “GET FIT WITH THE BRIT”.

Stefan is new to the Port Credit Athletics community. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA and has experience in high performance settings and small group training. He grew up playing sports with a specific interest in rugby and has a passion for working with youth athletes to help them develop safely while achieving high levels of academic and athletic success. With first hand knowledge of sports related injuries, his goal is to identify potential areas of weakness to prevent the risk of injury and to educate his clients as they improve their movement patterns. He studied Fitness and Health Promotion at Conestoga College before moving to Etobicoke to finish his BSc. in Kinesiology at Guelph-Humber University. Stefan previously worked in rehabilitation as an Active Care Specialist after graduating in 2015 and is equipped with the knowledge to work around his client’s injuries to allow for safe training practices. He is continuing his education as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy with the goal of bringing you the benefits of exercise and rehabilitation in a comprehensive and personalized program to suit you needs.

I began my journey into fitness with the focus on positively impacting the lives of others. I turned to personal training because of my own firsthand experience working with a trainer. Back in 2006 we achieved fitness goals beyond my greatest expectations resulting in competing in the 2007 and 2008 IDFA Canadian Classics. I have been very passionate about health and fitness ever since. I thoroughly enjoy personal training because it presents the perfect opportunity to share the knowledge I have gained from my own fitness journey. It is extremely rewarding to take someone from point A to point B and witness their excitement build as they hit numerous self improvement milestones. I work closely with my clients to help them overcome a wide array of challenges and cannot express enough how proud I am of their personal fitness accomplishments. There is no better feeling than helping elevate confidence levels inside and outside of the gym while motivating clients to achieve the physique they desire.

I have been going to the Gym for three and a half years. The past three years I have been taking Sandra MacTavish’s classes, which I really enjoy, find them challenging, motivating and fun.
